FAQ

The form asks me to fill in a code (my registration number). I have recovered my student number, but an error message is being displayed.

This problem can be due to two different reasons:

-Either you did not register for the right ceremony: We remind you that we are organising two sessions: one in the morning for graduates from BBA, MSc and MS programmes and a second in the afternoon for graduates of STEM, PGE, EMBA, DBA and PhD programmes.
So, make sure you are trying to sign up for the right session.

-The jury may not have passed your result yet, and we were unable to validate your registration number on the registration site. We ask for a little more patience. This will be done as soon as the jury has formalised your graduation result.

I am a PGE graduate, but I also chose an MSc specialisation in M2 and I intend to obtain the double degree.

Do I have to register for both the ceremonies?

No, simply register for the ceremony with your PGE classmates in the afternoon, and we will give you both the degrees at that time.

If your parents need a formal invitation to apply for a visa, please send an email to graduationceremony@skema.edu with all the required information you need on the invitation: the names, first name of the persons concerned, your relation and any further information your embassy usually requires to provide a visa. We will send to you as soon as possible an official invitation to facilitate obtaining the visa.

To accommodate the maximum of people, we have booked the largest event venue in Paris, la Seine Musicale. However, this room does not have enough capacity to accommodate all of you. This is why we decided to divide the cohort of graduates into two groups. Graduates from the BBA, MSc and MS programmes will receive their degrees in the morning. The graduates from STEM, PGE, EMBA, DBA and PhD programmes will receive it in the afternoon.

If you will obtain a double degree, please register for the afternoon ceremony with your PGE classmates.

Your degree certificate will be given to you on the day of the ceremony.
Please note: We will give your degree certificate upon presentation of an identity card valid at that date (passport or identity card) and against a signature.

If you cannot come, you can ask one of your friends to get it for you.

PROCESS TO GIVE PROXY:

If a graduate wants someone else to receive his/her degree certificate, this person will have to come to the Seine Musicale with:
– A handwritten letter from the graduate, explicitly giving proxy to that person
– A photocopy of the graduate’s identity card or passport
– The original and photocopy of the ID of the person who will receive the diploma on your behalf
(we will keep all photocopies for our records).

No, the school is pleased to invite you and your parents to the graduation ceremony.
You only have to pay to join the Gala evening at the Pavillon d’Armenonville (single tariff price: €87 for each participant).

We chose to organise this year’s ceremony at the Seine Musicale, and we are pleased to let every graduate register up to three guests online.
However, to take into account specific situations, we have opened a waiting list. You can now register new people (within reason) by stating their name and relation to you and sending an email at graduationceremony@skema.edu. We will then notify you as soon as possible if we could accept your additional registrations or not.

For security reasons, no cloakroom will be available at the Seine Musicale during the graduation ceremony because of the Vigipirate plan. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

A free cloakroom will be available at the Pavillon d’Armenonville.
